ITINERARY

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN LIMA

How exciting to arrive in Lima! Our team will meet you at Jorge Chávez Airport and take you to your hotel.

DAY 02: CITY TOUR COLONIAL AND MODERN LIMA

Breakfast at the hotel.

Between 9:10 and 9:45 AM, or between 2:10 and 2:45 PM, you will be picked up from your hotel. First, we will take a panoramic tour of the enigmatic Huaca Pucllana, where the ancient ruins transport us to the bygone era of the Ichma and Lima cultures. Then, we will cross the olive groves of San Isidro, Lince, and Cercado, enjoying views of the Palace of Justice, the historic Lima Art Museum, and the vibrant Plaza San Martín.

In the Plaza de Armas, with its panoramic views, we delve into history, exploring the Cathedral , the Government Palace , and the City Hall. Then we head to the Convent of Santo Domingo , home to relics of the Peruvian saints Saint Martin de Porres and Saint Rose of Lima. There, we can learn about their history and the legacy they left in the city of Lima. (If the passenger wishes, the visit to the Convent of San Francisco and its famous catacombs can be substituted for an additional cost) .

Finally, we ended the day with a spectacular view of Love Park, Larcomar, and the Pacific Ocean. As the Lima sunset painted the sky, we felt the sea breeze and the beauty of the city before returning to the hotel.

DAY 03: LIMA – PARACAS | BALLESTAS ISLANDS & PARACAS NATIONAL RESERVE

Box breakfast.

Pick-up and transfer to the bus station (Av. Javier Prado).

07:15 Arrival in Paracas, transfer to the respective hotel.

8:00 AM: Start of the Ballestas Islands tour aboard modern speedboats, where you can admire the Candelabro, a large geoglyph that serves as a beacon for sailors. This Candelabro is related to the Nazca Lines and geoglyphs. The Ballestas Islands are composed of rock formations that are home to important marine fauna, including guano birds such as the Guanay Cormorant, Peruvian Booby, and Inca Tern. You can also see Peruvian penguins, which are endangered. Additionally, these islands serve as natural refuges and are home to various sea lions and other mammals.

11:00 hrs Start of the visit to the Paracas National Reserve, a protected area with the purpose of conserving and protecting the diverse

Species of wild flora and fauna that live there, we can observe birds such as the parihuanas or flamingos which served

General San Martín served as inspiration for the creation of the national colors, and you will also be able to observe other species

You will see La Catedral, a rock formation located between the beaches of Yumaque and Supay, and visit Lagunillas beach.

DAY 04: PARACAS - ICA | CITY TOUR & HUACACHINA LAGOON - LIMA

Free morning, and then transfer to the Ica bus station to Paracas.

11:00 Bus Departure

12:10 Arrival in the city of eternal sun “Ica”. Pick-up and transfer to a restaurant for lunch (Food not included).

At 2:00 PM, you will visit the main square, colonial mansions, the Sanctuary of the Lord of Luren, and wineries to learn about the winemaking process and enjoy a tasting of Peruvian wines and piscos. You will also visit the Huacachina Lagoon, considered the oasis of America, where adventure sports such as buggy rides are practiced.

Return to the bus station, to go back to the city of Lima.

22:20 Arrival in the city of Lima, and subsequent transfer to your respective hotel.

DAY 05: LIMA - IQUITOS - ECOLODGE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure from Lima to Iquitos.

We'll be met at Iquitos airport to begin our Amazonian adventure. We'll depart for Nauta , the first city founded by the Spanish on the banks of the Marañón River (a 1.5-hour drive). En route, we'll visit San Joaquín de Omaguas and the Samuel Fritz Interpretation Center, from where you can see the source of the Amazon River, the world's largest river by volume.

At the port of Nauta, we will board the boat to the ecolodge, with a stop at Fundo Casual (during the high-water season) to observe the local flora and fauna. Upon arrival, a member of the Kukama Kukamiria community will welcome us with a refreshing fruit drink.

In the afternoon, we'll participate in a sustainable activity (such as planting a tree or learning words in Kukama) and explore the Ethnobotanical Ecotrail with a virtual guide.

In the evening, we'll enjoy a discussion about Amazonian myths and legends and the Mythological Ecotrail.

DAY 06: PRIVATE RESERVE / NAUTA CAÑO - PACAYA SAMIRIA NATIONAL RESERVE

Breakfast at the lodge.

Walk through the ecolodge's private reserve (restinga forest ), observing flora, fauna and medicinal plants.

In the afternoon, we will explore the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, known as the Jungle of Mirrors. We will navigate the Nauta Caño in search of pink and gray dolphins, birds, and aquatic species. We will practice artisanal fishing and

We will take a hike through flooded forests.

Overnight stay at the lodge.


DAY 07: CYANAYACU-PUCATE / COMMUNITY TWENTY OF JANUARY (CAMP)

After breakfast, we will depart for the Veinte de Enero community within the RNPS (Sierra de Patagones National Reserve) to observe the various activities carried out by local residents organized as natural resource management groups to preserve the reserve's species. There, we will participate in activities such as climbing aguaje trees, canoeing, and artisanal fishing. We will then continue our journey to the Renacal area to set up our tents (lunch will be served on board or we will camp). From there, we will organize exploratory excursions in the area based on the interests of the expedition members. After dinner, we will depart by boat to observe nocturnal wildlife.

DAY 08: PACAYA SAMIRIA NATIONAL RESERVE / ECOLODGE

Breakfast at the campsite.

We'll go hiking in search of more animals, or perhaps we'd prefer to cool off in the waters of Yanayacu. We'll get ready and break camp to prepare for our return to the lodge.

Lunch at the camp or on board according to the schedule managed by our specialist guide.

Along the way we can enjoy the surrounding landscape and perhaps be surprised by some wildlife that we couldn't appreciate on our way in, since in the jungle nothing is predictable.

Overnight stay at the lodge.


DAY 09: COCHA SHIRIYACU / SAN JORGE COMMUNITY / IQUITOS - LIMA

After breakfast, a boat excursion on the Marañón River to Cocha Shiriyacu (depending on the season and fishing conditions). We will visit the San Jorge Community and the Women Artisans Center (Pua Kamatawara).

Known for their work in natural fiber (Chambira) and carving in wingo or gourd. Return to the ecolodge.

At the appropriate time, we will board the vessel to the port of Nauta. Upon arrival at the port of Nauta, we will transfer to the Iquitos airport, "Coronel FAP Francisco Secada Vignetta International Airport".

Arrival in the city of Lima. Our team will meet you at Jorge Chávez Airport and take you to your hotel.

DAY 10: CUSCO: CITY TOUR + ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK

Between 12:30 and 1:00 PM, the city tour begins with a historical visit to the Plaza Mayor, where colonial and Inca architecture blend seamlessly. Next, we'll marvel at the majestic Cusco Cathedral, a treasure of Renaissance and colonial style. Following this, we'll visit the Qoricancha Temple , a jewel of Inca architecture, now the Convent of Santo Domingo. Finally, we'll explore four nearby archaeological sites: Sacsayhuaman , with its imposing walls; Qenqo , a mysterious stone labyrinth; Puca Pucara , a red fortress; and Tambomachay , renowned for its ceremonial fountains.

We returned to the city, filled with awe and admiration.

DAY 11: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

7:30 to 8:00 AM Hotel pick-up . We'll head to the impressive archaeological complex of Pisaq and its famous traditional artisan market, known on social media for its beautiful handicrafts. You'll love the variety and vibrant colors of this place!

We continue our journey along the banks of the Vilcanota River, enjoying spectacular scenery, until we reach Urubamba. Here, you can savor an exquisite lunch, a culinary experience that will delight your senses.

Next, we'll visit Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns. Its streets maintain the same layout as in Inca times, and we'll explore its magnificent archaeological complex. It's like stepping back in time!

To end this day full of history and culture, we transferred to our hotel in the enchanting Sacred Valley of the Incas.

DAY 12: FULL DAY MACHU PICCHU

Breakfast at the hotel or box breakfast.

The day arrived to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World . We started very early to head to the train station in Wanchaq, Poroy, or Ollantaytambo , depending on the season. We boarded the train bound for Machu Picchu Pueblo or Aguas Calientes.

Our team will assist us in boarding the bus that will take us to the entrance of the sanctuary, along a road with breathtaking curves, offering spectacular views of the Urubamba River as it carves the famous canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will welcome us with its incredible terraces, staircases, ceremonial sites, and urban areas. The energy emanates from the entire place. After a guided tour, we will return to the village to enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local restaurants. Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco, filled with unforgettable memories .

DAY 13: AGUAS CALIENTES – CUSCO (B)

Free day to explore and discover the town of Machu Picchu on your own.

DAY 14: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN - VINICUNCA

4:20 to 5:00 AM Hotel pick-up. We wake up very early, full of excitement and with our best walking shoes ready for an unforgettable adventure to the famous Rainbow Mountain. We travel to the foothills of the majestic Ausangate Mountain , where we will stop in the charming town of Cusipata to enjoy a hot breakfast that will fill us with energy and warmth.

After a brief, inspiring talk, accompanied by our expert guide, we began an exciting two-hour hike. Along the way, we immersed ourselves in the fascinating customs and mysticism that envelop the Andes Mountains. Each step brought us closer to the wonder that awaited us.

Upon arrival, we were awestruck by the breathtaking Andean landscape, with its vibrant, dreamlike colors. This is the perfect moment to capture stunning photos and create memories that will last a lifetime.

On our return, we'll head back to the charming village of Cusipata, where a delicious lunch awaits us, a welcome respite after our hike. Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Cusco, filled with unforgettable memories and experiences to cherish forever.

DAY 15: HUMANTAY LAGOON

4:00 to 4:30 AM Hotel pick-up . We wake up very early, full of excitement and with our best walking shoes ready for an unforgettable adventure to Humantay Lagoon. First, we travel to the picturesque village of Mollepata, where we will enjoy a hot breakfast that will fill us with energy and warmth.

Next, we continue our journey to Soraypampa, where we'll take a short break before beginning the hike to the lagoon, situated at an impressive altitude of 4,250 meters above sea level . This ascent, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes long, will take us through spectacular landscapes and pure air that will revitalize our senses.

Upon arrival, we were awestruck by the beauty of Humantay Lagoon, a true natural paradise. Here, we will also participate in a brief and moving ceremony of payment to Mother Earth, honoring the sacred Apus (mountain spirits).

At the appropriate time, we will return to Soraypampa and then to the charming village of Mollepata to enjoy a delicious lunch to replenish our energy after the hike. Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco, filled with unforgettable memories and experiences.

DAY 16: CUSCO - PUNO: ROUTE OF THE SUN (ANDAHUAYLILLAS - RAQCHI – SICUANI – LA RAYA)

Our team in Cusco will assist us with the transfer to the tourist bus station.

7:00 AM We depart from Cusco towards the charming city of Puno. Along the way, we'll visit some important attractions that will leave you in awe. First, the chapel of Andahuaylillas, known as "the Sistine Chapel of the Americas" for the breathtaking beauty of its murals. A true artistic treasure!

Next, we explored the Raqchi archaeological complex, famous as the temple of the god Wiracocha. Here, you can feel the history and spirituality that surrounds this sacred place.

Afterwards, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch that will recharge our energy for the rest of our journey. Our next stop will be La Raya Pass , the natural border between the cities of Cusco and Puno . The views here are simply spectacular!

Finally, we will visit the fascinating Lithic Museum of Pukara, where we will admire the famous sculpture of Hatun Ñan Qac, known as the supreme executioner. This museum is a window into the past and the ancient cultures that inhabited this region.

5:00 PM Upon arrival in Puno, our friends will be waiting for us at the bus station to take us to the hotel and rest after a day full of adventures and discoveries.

DAY 17: UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS TOURS

7:30 AM Hotel pick-up . We'll get ready early and excitedly head to the port of Puno to begin a lake crossing on a very fast boat, which will quickly take us to the fascinating Floating Islands of the Uros. This group of floating islands, made of totora reeds, is inhabited by our friends the Uros, descendants of one of the oldest cultures in the Americas. Here, you can appreciate their unique way of life and their incredible creations, such as woolen textiles and taxidermied animals. A truly unique cultural experience!

Next, we'll visit the beautiful Taquile Island, where we'll enjoy a delicious lunch. You'll have time to explore the island and shop in the community, taking home unique souvenirs of this special place.

In the afternoon, we returned to Puno, full of new experiences and wonderful memories.

DAY 18: AYMARA ROUTE

We'll begin our mystical adventure with a visit to the Temple of Fertility in Chucuito, an archaeological site with phallic monoliths linked to fertility rituals, also known as "Inca Uyo." Next, we'll explore the pre-Incan tombs of Molloko, notable for their unique design, preserving the memory of ancestral Andean cultures. Later, we'll visit Aramu Muru , a mysterious portal carved into rock, surrounded by legends about dimensions and spiritual energies. Afterward, we'll visit Waru Warus , ancient Andean agricultural systems that combine raised fields and canals to optimize irrigation and protect crops. Finally, we'll conclude the tour in the city of Juli, known as the "Rome of America," renowned for its imposing colonial churches and rich cultural history in Puno.

DAY 19: DEPARTURE FROM PUNO
